What a wonderful world

What makes me take landscape photographs? It is capturing a very specific moment in the space time continuum. It is also the realisation that memories fade and we do not have the capacity that we would like in order to bring back those moments any any great detail. It is also, frankly, that I have been lugging all this camera equipment around the planet, so I might as well use it !

At their best, though, good photographs are like reading old letters from friends, or dusty diary entries.

Here you will find moments from Jordan, China, Cedar Rock farm in Vermont, Chilbolton Hampshire, Bali, the West of Ireland, Sag Harbor NY, Iceland and the Serengeti. Hopefully they have a universality about them that conjures up moments in your life too.
